The Oberwaldhaus is located directly on the Steinbrücker Teich recreation area and offers many leisure opportunities in the nature park. You can start walks in the adjacent forest area directly from our hotel. Benches for some rest invite you to linger, whether singles or with family, for sporting activities or for ambitious nature lovers, the area at the Oberwaldhaus offers everything in one.

 

The in-house restaurant is responsible for culinary indulgence all year round, and in summer also with the large outdoor terrace. There is regional and international cuisine. From spring and in summer our  opensJulia beach bar with cool drinks and delicious snacks.

 

Without a doubt, the Mathildenhöhe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is only a few minutes' walk away

the highlight of Darmstadt's sights.

In the midst of the historical buildings there is also a symbol of Darmstadt in the artist colony,

the wedding tower.
